There once lived a man named Mr. Popper. Mr Popper lived with Mrs. Popper and they had two children, Janie and Bill. Mr. Popper was a painter that dreamed to travel. Especially to placed like Antarctica and the South Pole.He would watch every movie about these places. One day Mr. Popper mailed a letter to a television show saying that he loved their penguins. In response, the television show said that they would send him a special surprise in the mail soon. So one day the mail carrier came with a box that read "open right away".  Mr. Popper slowly opened the box to find a penguin. He was so happy.  The family kept the penguin in the freezer. Mr. Popper then comes into possession of a female penguin. Before long Mr. Popper finds himself surrounded by a growing family of birds and begins training them to perform in a traveling show named              "Popper's Performing Penguins" Popper was given the opportunity to put his penguins in movies and send them to Hollywood. However, he decided to give them back to the television show that gave him them because the penguins had began getting tired from all the traveling. This teaches the students to be careful what you wish for.
