Summary: When Joseph's favorite overcoat becomes old and worn, he makes a jacket out of it. When the jacket is more patches than jacket, Joseph then turns it into a vest. When it is cut up from being a vest, he then makes it into a scarf . This continues until there is nothing left of the original garment. However, Joseph manages to make something out of nothing. This teaches students the value of a dollar. You could use this book when discussing economy and managing money.
